Pastor Shannon Munday

Dr. Shannon Munday has served PVBC since May of 1997.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communications from Truman University and a Master’s in Biblical Studies and an Honorary Doctorate from Ambassador Baptist College.  He has served as a youth pastor, a dorm supervisor and senior pastor in Colorado, Missouri and North Carolina. He and his wife, Teresa, have been married since 1989, and have three grown children, Tyler, Thayne and Cherith. Pastor Munday has a passion to help believers understand God’s Word and God’s purpose for their lives.

Pastor Wes Carnes

Pastor Wes Carnes has been at Platte Valley Baptist Church since September of 2017. Saved at the age of 16, he soon felt Gods call to the ministry and attended Ambassador Baptist College, graduating with a Bachelors in Pastoral Studies. Wes has been married to his wife Laura since August 2004 and has three kids. After serving in ministries in Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania Wes is thankful to be serving here at PVBC. He has a burden to help the youth and families of Morgan County grow in their walk with God.
